Step 0: Gather Necessary Documents

Welcome to the application process for your electronic payment processing. Listed below are the steps to follow and the needed items to be accessible while completing the application. We desire to make this process as simple and easy as possible. If after completing this process, you have suggestions on how we can make this better and easier, please send an email to info@teammerchant.com. Thank you for your interest in integrated payment processing with Member Minder Pro (aka DACdb and iMembersDB).

(Note: you can only use one tax id per account. If you have multiple organizations with separate tax IDs, you will need to make an application for each entity that you wish to perform electronic payment processing.)

  • Tax ID Number

  • Bank Routing and Account Number

  • Prepare to -

    o   Learn who is who for Payfactory/Paycove/Team Merchant

    o   Set up your gateway account with Paycove

    o   Connect it to DACdb

    o   Fill out a Payfactory processing application if a new account is needed

    o   If you are using iMembersDB – please email info@teammerchant.com, these instructions will not work for iMembersDB just yet.

Step 1: Create Paycove Account - Click Orange Button to Begin

Create a Paycove account to be used as your gateway. Paycove has real-time transaction information and is where you can make refunds.

  • Make sure to select the DACdb integration during signup

  • Paycove will automatically convert your trial to a live account in future steps

  • An email can only be used for one account. If you need multiple accounts for your club and foundation, this format will allow you to make multiple accounts and will send the emails to the original address. See this example for our email info@teammerchant.com

    • info+club@teammerchant.com

    • info+foundation@teammerchant.com

    • both email addresses will forward all emails to info@teammerchant.com, try it! Email yourself with something after a + and see if it comes through.

Create your Paycove username and password:

  • If you need more than one account, see instructions just above

  • If you receive a message: “Domain Name already exists,” send an email to info@teammerchant.com with the email you are trying to use and the error. We’ll fix it and let you know right away.

Step 2: Click DACdb

Select DACdb on this page:

Step 3: Choose Platform fee or Non-platform fee

***This is an important choice your club will need to make! Make sure to read through the questions.

If your club is going to pass along a fee at the time of payment use the Platform fee.

Step 4: Connect DACdb

Click “Connect DACdb” and follow the steps to connect your DACdb account to your new Paycove account.

This takes you over to DACdb to login to connect your new Paycove Account to your DACdb account “behind the scenes”:

Login with your DACdb username and password:

Then:

Click Authorize:

Step 5: Important Decision!

Which describes your club?

OPTION A:

Does Your Club Already Have a Processing Account with Team Merchant/Payfactory and you are just adding Paycove (AKA “getting new credentials?) for the account you already have

Select “I have a Team Merchant/Payfactory Account” and proceed to step 6 since you don’t need to do a new application for a new account.

OPTION B:

Does Your Club Need to Apply for a NEW Payfactory Processing Account?

You will need to fill out the merchant processing application with Payfactory.

“Apply to Team Merchant/Payfactory”

Application FAQ’s

  • What should I put for the DBA? -> Club name

  • What should I do if my club doesn’t have an address or only uses a PO Box? ->Use the signer’s home address.

  • Why does it need my personal information? -> A credit card processing account is a kind of bank account, and we need to follow federal regulations. We do an identity check, not a hard or soft credit pull.

Step 6: Complete your Business Profile

Step 7: Success!

Wait for Payfactory to approve your account in 1-2 business days.
